From time to time, while perusing the sum of human knowledge, I stumble upon things that take my breath away, or blow my mind, or simply make me drop my jaw in wonder. This section is dedicated to those really neat things that exist only in the mind of the Singularity.
Tribute to the 10th Doctor… Incredible…
My favourite show, my favourite band.
“People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it’s more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey… stuff.”
The Tenth Doctor, Doctor Who, “Blink”
This is such a remote thing as to be beautiful. Such a weird and underground debate that it becomes epic. There are hardcore fans on both sides, and they defend their position so adamantly that you just get caught up in beautifully executed semantics of it all. Who would win in a fight, Goku or Superman?
This is really neat. It makes sense. It kinda feels right. However, keep in mind that scientifically speaking, according to my friends at Physics Forums, now part of Scientific American, it’s all hooey, a kind of simplistic way of looking at reality, a kind of intuitive way of understanding patterns in the wrong way… A way that makes no scientific sense whatsoever but sounds really neat. Hey, I write sci-fi, I make the implausible fun and believable, who am I to criticise?
So, Physics People, my heroes, I know this isn’t in any way scientifically valid, so don’t write mean comments. I think and I write, therefore I make people think about what I’ve written. I endeavour to optimise.
Don’t be fooled by the weird looking intro frame, this AMV is considered as one of the best ever made.
This excellent video was created by Victor Boruta, of VicBond007 Productions. Thanks Vic! Great work!
